New to your sauna? The owner's guide walks through setup, everyday use and sharing, with screenshots — and can be downloaded as a PDF.
Make sure Bluetooth is on and you are within a few steps of the sauna. The app finds the sauna only while it is in pairing mode: with the sauna connected to power and its control panel completely off (no buttons lit), press and hold Power for a full 10 seconds until you hear two beeps, then search again. If you hear the beeps and it still doesn't appear, contact us.
Holding Power for 10 seconds puts the sauna in pairing mode, which takes it off your Wi-Fi, and it stays there until it is put back. To put it back, open Health Mate near the sauna, tap the ••• menu, then Add Another Sauna, choose your sauna and tap Keep This Network. It is back online within seconds, with its history and household. There's no need to remove it.
The sauna connects to 2.4 GHz WiFi networks only. If your router broadcasts a combined 2.4/5 GHz network, try creating a separate 2.4 GHz network, or move the sauna closer to the router during setup.
On the sign-in screen, type your email address and tap "Forgot password?". We will email you a reset link from noreply@smart.healthmatesauna.com — check your spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes. This works even if you originally signed in with Google or Sign in with Apple and never set a password — one email address is one account, so the reset sets a password on the account you already have and your saunas and history stay exactly as they were.
Yes. One email address is one account: password, Google and Sign in with Apple all reach the same account and the same saunas, and you can use different ones on different phones. All three are available on both iPhone and Android, so an account created with Sign in with Apple on one works on the other with no extra steps.
The sauna has lost its WiFi connection or been powered off at the panel. Check that the sauna has power and that your WiFi is working. The app reconnects automatically when the sauna comes back online.
Yes — open Settings → Invite Member and enter their email. They accept the invitation in their own app and get full control. Only the owner can invite or remove members. One account can also own or be a member of multiple saunas.
The current owner can transfer ownership from the Household settings, or remove the sauna from their account so the new owner can add it fresh. Your usage history stays with the sauna.
In the app: Settings → Delete My Data. This permanently removes your account, linked saunas, usage history, and personal data. See our privacy policy for details on what we store.
We occasionally require an update when older versions can no longer work correctly with our service. Install the latest version from the App Store or Play Store and you're back in.
